Just because your little one if in a spica cast, it doesn't mean they can't get outside. The best thing we did was to not let the cast hold us back. We got outside and enjoyed as much of mother nature as we could. Yes, the cast may take a little bit of a beating, but it was worth it. Just do what you can to protect it.
This was a blast! We were able to open one of the doors and let one of her legs hang out while still being strapped in. Using the remote control, we would drive her all over the neighborhood and she loved waving at everyone and honking the horn. #ad
This is another repeat from the transportation items. We would use this for walks as well, but mostly used this for going on hikes. She loves going on hikes and looking at everything mother nature has to offer. #ad
Coloring with chalk is fun for all ages and being in a spica cast doesn't need to hold you back. The chalk will wash off just fine. There were multiple times that she'd crawl right through a picture her brother just finished and wind up with a rainbow of colors on her hands and knees. #ad
This was one swing that we found worked well with a spica cast. It took us a bit to get the hang of getting her in it, but once we did, she never wanted to get out. You can lift up the front bar and put one leg in at a time and then use the pillow it comes with to put behind the back. #ad
This one is a repeat from the transportation items for good reason. This thing is awesome. We would use this for walks, going to the zoo, and really any smoother terrain. #ad
This list wouldn't be complete without bubbles. Who doesn't love bubbles?! These are the best bubbles we've used. The best part about bubbles is that you can get creative with how you use them like putting a bubble machine on the front of the radio flyer for a walk. #ad
