Indoor Play

Friends & Family

This is the most important thing to make sure you include in your little ones journey.  Being around friends and family to socialize and play is great for development and everyone's mental health.  Please don't let being in a spica cast hold you back from spending time with the people that mean the most to you and your little one.

Hours were spent drawing on this.  We traced blocks, puzzle pieces, hands, and anything we could find.  She drew some pretty awesome pictures too. #ad

Play-Doh is one of those things that you can play with and are only limited by your own imagination.  Get a multi color pack and go nuts.  Just make sure you keep an eye on your little one so it doesn't end up in the cast! #ad

Out daughter loves Baby Shark, so this was a must for us.  However, unless your little one absolutely loves Baby Shark, you may want to steer clear of it.  The song WILL be stuck in your head. #ad

We love these markers because they are exactly what they claim to be - mess free!  If you do get some, make sure you don't forget the special paper that they work with here. #ad

These little activity books are great for indoor play or for a car ride.  Just fill up the little pen with some water and let the mess free coloring commence! #ad

This is another fun activity.  I don't know what it is about matching shaped and putting them into the egg carton, but our little one loves playing with these. #ad

I purchased this when we were doing some research on toys that would be good for stationary play and it did not disappoint.  She opened it up when she got back from the hospital and absolutely loved it. #ad

Our daughter loves reading books while sitting in her spica table.  You can't go wrong with books, so make sure you get a variety to keep them entertained. #ad

These things are so fun!  We spent hours building different towers, garages for little animals, and the biggest walls you've ever seen - all to be knocked down 2 seconds after it's finished. #ad

We received this as a gift from a friend and it is amazing.  There is so much that you can do with it from sorting beads and matching shapes, to learning letters and learning the physics behind how gears work. #ad

Stickers can provide hours of entertainment for kids and these sticker books with scenes in them provide even more fun.  You can't go wrong with stickers and a piece of paper. #ad

Crayons are a must!  If you don't already have heaps of broken ones laying around, pick up a nice set of jumbo ones.  They are easily to handle for little hands and don't break as easily. #ad

Puzzles are another must and having a variety of little puzzles is a great idea.  They get the satisfaction of completing them and the variety to keep them interested. #ad
