Our doctor petalled the cast pretty well, but they do still start to peel off over time. We found duct tape to be the perfect solution. Match the color to the cast or have some fun with different colors or patterns. #ad
Tape from Hospital
Hospitals use really good tape. Make sure you take the roll they give you home or ask for one. It's great to use if you need to re-petal your cast.
Thin Medical Tape
We tried all kinds of different tapes to keep the petaling that they did at the hospital from peeling up. We found the thin (1/2) medical tape from Walgreens worked best. use this first and then go over the top with moleskin, athletic tape, or duct tape.
We got our hands on this tape it it worked wonders for taping cast openings and is soft enough for comfort. You can get this in a bunch of fun colors too! #ad
Use this tape to go around any of the cast opening that may be causing irritation. It's much softer and will provide extra comfort. #ad
You probably already have these, but make sure you use them! Nobody wants a cast stained and smelling like last night's spaghetti dinner! #ad
These bibs go the extra mile for mess protection. We used these for craft time and messier meals. #ad
